31/01/07 - 2007 Sahtu Housing Conference

NORMAN WELLS (January 31, 2007) - The first Northwest Territories Housing Corporation Housing Conference was held in the town of Norman Wells, Northwest Territories January 31 to February 1, 2007. The conference brought together industry partners and community members in a sharing of knowledge and tools with a focus on the Sahtu region.

The goal of the conference was to provide participants with a greater awareness of the programs and services that are provided by the Northwest Territories Housing Corporation and create a better understanding of the role the Corporation plays in delivering housing in the NWT. The conference was coordinated through the Northwest Territories Housing Corporation District Office in Norman Wells.[more]
